Free Recording Software for Macs?

(I had originally posted this under "League Videos," but I am now aware that that is strictly for videos, so I figured I'd post it here.)

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a free (quality) recording software that works on macs. Preferably it also records in-game audio. I am aware that Macs already have Quicktime, but when I attempt to record with it it lags the game and records at something like 3 FPS. (Lowering the video quality might help, but I'm not quite sure how to do that, and I would much rather have it be recorded in decent quality.)

I have been wanting to make League-related videos for a long time, but I've never actually been able to record games. Any suggestions?

I don't have a Mac, so I can't speak to the quality of the Mac version, but the PC version is awesome. Great for streaming, flexible, customizable, and I believe there's an option to save videos locally to your HDD.
