most of us people are very bored and wish to be doing something productive during the loading screen before the match. how bout we add a team chat. so we can discuss early ideas and establish plans ans yell at our teammates :D. this is just a simple idea that will help all of us thank you.

NorwayFOO6 votesThis also might help stop AFKers that leave during loading and come back later to find out they missed the beginning or even the entire game completely! It might also help the community a little too because you will be able to talk to everyone beforehand and work things out before even entering the game. Not to mention the fact that you know who you are facing helps as well because you can work on figuring out what your up against. (Like if a team is mostly adc then you can change up pairing accordingly).

Then maybe the loading screen should have a button command to cancel a match with a majority vote, in case an afk or trolling event would happen.

implement a sub game on the loading screen. Like Snake. I believe you used to (maybe still can) play Snake overtop of YouTube videos by using the arrow keys while buffering. The game could continue while watching the video, but here, the game would end when loading has finished.

daddyshelton5 votesAt best, you see the loading screen for, what? Two minutes? Yeah, I'm sure Riot will get right on that. Setting up a chat screen that won't even be up long enough to set up a scroll bar and watching the hundreds of man hours that go into coding something like that all go down the drain when people flame their team in it anyway and we can't use THAT chat to report them to the Tribunal either. Riot wastes the work, the Tribunal gets yelled at again for something they can't handle, the community calls it stupid, it most likely increases the loading times by forever... But hey, you won, right? So there's no possible way it could be bad.

*2- Sometimes teams are not able to discuss the necessary "items on the agenda" before the game starts. (This only applies to the team-oriented player-base) It's nice to be able to talk to your team before a game, and sometimes it gets cut off. That's rather annoying.
*3- Maybe Riot could consider doing a more "toned-down" version of this. Or maybe they could do a "smack talk" feature where you could send smack talk back and forth between teams. Just to make the game a little more... extravagant, for lack of a better term. It keeps the "beef" going between teams.

So what have we learned here? Let's be nicer. And maybe instead of flaming or being argumentative, we ca suggest solutions, or better ideas. Keep that in mind when on the forums or in-game, it doesn't matter where. The community is based around the attitude of players.

Manawind3 votesI think the snarkiness was over-the-top because it was satire. Grant he should have prefaced it as that, but he does have a point. I'd rather them work so that I see less of the loading screen than put feature in it.
As for the chat during loading, it's not a good idea.
If the team didn't speak up before champ select or during the 60s of free time after the last lock, then they probably won't use it.
If the team is raging at each other, then they will continue to and don't have that small period to cool down before the match starts.
Most teams that I've seen make strategies do so in the first 2m of the game while everyone is in motion.
IM A MOUNTAIN4 votesYou fail to see, this wouldn't ONLY be for draft pick, it could be for blind pick normals as well where you get barely any pre-game time to talk strat after calling and picking. They can't just make loading times shorter, it's dependent on summoner's computers, and some play on toasters, I've been in many queues where pre-game loading took upwards of 5-10 minutes. It'd be nice to have this so teams can decide as to whether or not to invade, where to focus first, discuss opponent champions, counters, and possible play styles. It'd benefit more than it'd hurt, plus a simple chat box isn't hundreds of hours of coding.
