Seriously. They really need to adjust their matchmaking. Why do cases like this come up? In this example the opposing team's lowest tier player is higher than our highest tier player. This is a ranked game by the way.
Dolyna1 votesIn my experience with other games, the better the matchmaking, the longer the queue times. To get a nicely balanced matched, you might have to wait a very long time.

If the 5 strongest of the 10 players are on the same team, the game isn't balanced. It could/should be 1&4&5&7&10 vs 2&3&6&8&9.
Of course, to the OP, the reason is mmr is not equal to Tier. Having 2 separate systems is confusing, but ultimately despite being in lower tiers riot thinks some players on your team are better than some on the other team.
