I was banned for leaving/AFK but the game was a fluke as my dog got out in the 3rd minute and i had to leave inorder to take care of that emergency. i realize bans dont happen for one game but the next game my computer did an auto-update and kicked me out of league. I now have a 5game low-que because my dog got out...? league why do you do this?

5 Game doesn't happen because of two leaves, this has been a more chronic problem than you're admitting, unless you AFK'd on two ranked games.
I just got banned for 200 years this morning and I was given no information on how this happened. After $300 of RP purchases, Riot just lost a loyal customer and esports fan. 
This isn't League's fault. If it were as easy as going "well shit I had an emergency, don't ban me" that's what all the trolls and ragers would say whether it was true or not.
If they let you get away with it, they have to let everybody. What you did is technically no different than the kids that load in and go "oh supper is ready. sorry" and leave.
There's no way to distinguish the differences. I'm sorry you got banned for stupid stuff, but it happens. That's just how it goes.
