The task manager and league.
Not really sure why League needs LOL Patcher, LOL laucher, and LOL.exe AND LOLclient.exe to run, but whatever.

It's good System structure, the different programms perform different tasks and are lartgely independant of each other.
So it's a good idea to keep them seperate to stop them from interfering with each other.
honestly the thing that bugs me the most is that every time the game updates my firewall creates a new instance of league. i swear i've got like 100 exceptions on my firewall for league of legends alone, and every time it updates i have to add a new one.
