How to make Blue essence Better for EVERYONE

I think it's safe to say that hextech crafting has been a rather smashing success (even if somewhat confusing at first), as the idea that you can earn free stuff just through investing your time in to the game, has always been a staple of good game design. It's also something that league, until recently, lacked.

However, there's one nagging problem in the system that irritates many long time players such as myself, and that's the utter uselessness of blue essence. There's not a worse feeling than opening a chest that you played for hours to get, just to see that you got another champion shard that's essentially just something to add to your collection, since it's not even worth it to disenchant them. It really cuts down on the rewarding aspects of the chests.

That said, I completely understand the reason why Riot would choose to still give players champion shards even if they own all champions, but what I don't understand is the decision to just have blue essence be useless. So I propose that, with sufficient blue essence, you can "enchant" a chest, giving it a 100% chance of giving a skin. This change would allow for players to feel far less frustration when they receive a champion shard, and could even offer a cool choice for people who don't own all the champions.

Even if it took a large amount of blue essence, it would give value to something that is otherwise potentially worthless, while not ruining the luck factor of the chests. This is a solution that resolves one of the systems largest problems, but doesn't compromise the system.

Please Riot, Reward dedicated players for owning all the champions, don't make it feel like a punishment to get a champion shard.
