So let's talk about the league community

So I have been playing league for about 3 years now, and I have loved it. However like EVERYONE else I hate the community because of how much angry yelling and toxic behavior there is and that has become a HUGE problem for me and my friends. Now don't get me wrong I have been angry at the game from time to time. But I have NEVER had a chat ban or anything like that. I know how we all say that the community is toxic and we all wish it would change however NO ONE is willing to just be nice. For example a friend of mine complains all the time about the community but he is ALWAYS the first to troll and call people names. Then say that it's everyone's fault for trolling him, like how can you call people names and yell at them then think they will be okay with playing with you and cooperate with you. As I play more and more with randoms I have come to learn a simple fact. MOST people are like this on league, and as a Support main I see A STUPID AMOUNT of people with this kind of feeling. so here's from a tip form a friendly league player. If YOU want someone to PLAY NICE AND NOT BE TOXIC this is the best way to have that happen. YOU HAVE TO BE NICE AND NOT BE TOXIC

This is the kind of chat that sends people into a reporting rage. Despite the fact that Ekko and Vayne said they would feed and did in fact feed. I got restricted over this chat...

This is 100% true, generally the people who complain the most about the League community are the ones that get set off the easiest and create a lot of that bad feeling.

By setting a positive tone and being friendly I notice people's frustrated comments are a lot milder or just die out pretty quickly instead of becoming a full on flame war that leaves everyone feeling bad. Tell the person who's losing lane that it's ok and you'll come help them, it ends tilt and leaves everyone happy

fucking tell me about it. 4 games in a row i've had trollers and needlessly toxic asshole. I had 3 teammates flame me because I wouldn't follow them to being baited (i was support). Yelled at me for asking teemo why he had 0 mushrooms on the map. Like stupid toxic, and the ezreal is trying to lie to the enemies and say that i called our adc trash, when he's the one that said it. I only asked her why she was buying blood thirster first item. This is rage-inducing.

second game: 4 man premade. We were fighting and I was pinging for help, and half my teammates were focusing the tank, the other half just ran away, and i died. I typed in chat "can you guys like, help??" literally got yelled at non stop for the rest of the game, called a piece of shit, someone tossed in some irrelevant shit about their sex life. All because I asked for help. They all chatted, yet again, second person today lieing, saying that I was being rude and toxic to everyone, when I would have not said anything for 5 minutes and they start back up talking shit for no reason. Randomly typing in chat "report lux". I had really had enough of this fucking community tonight at this point. I chill, and go into another game with a positive mindset that this can't happen AGAIN, because its happened twice in a row. this one will be better.

third game: I was kat. I just /mute all everyone from the start. our bot lane fed. top fed. no one roamed. warded. Our jungler never ganked or did anything but feed. I'm starting to get really irritated at this point because of all the ass wipes I'm constantly encountering.

fourth game: I'm jungle. Our top lane is constantly DC'ing and reconnecting. We had first pick VOLUNTEER support, only to not support what so ever. Took singed, refused to stay bot lane and left our adc 2v1 almost all laning phase, and never ever ever warded. I asked him why he was never bot and i got "shut the fuck up. You're a worthless human piece of garbage. Get good scrub." mean while as jungle, i was the only person taking objectives, always solo, the only person warding, and ended up being tied for most farm. Took 4 towers by myself, dragon by myself, and 2 inhibitors. We still lost because every single person on my team fed horrendously and singed was a toxic asshole.

But riot doesn't want you to respond! but won't make match making even, won't pair you up with at least half way not retarded people. I've never once gotten a message that someone has been dealt with by the system. Not. Once. Yet tonight alone I've had to sit through mind-blowing toxicity over literally nothing, but not one damn thing taken care of.
