Gifting a PROJECT Skin question

Back in the day when Lucian was still running the BT to Tri build, I would duo with a buddy of mine. He would be Leona while I be Lucian. We didn't get very far (Silver 2), but I had a lot of great moments with him. So I'm planning to buy project Lucian for myself and get that border, while gifting him project Leona to commemorate our time , but if I gift Project Leona to my friend, will he get the border as well.

i just gifted myself the skin and got the border, seems safe to do. if anything does happen you can always contact support theyll help!

If you gift a skin during the First Strike promotion (through the 15th), the person receiving the gift will receive the border. :]
