I just purchased a new laptop ( i know, its still a laptop will barely push high settings), but, i have $400 budget. I found this badboy and decided on it but i havent found any review of how it runs league so im just curious as to what someone who knows more about computers than i do feels about this product.
disregardable1 votesMy response is if all the games you play are as intensive as League and you can get 60+ FPS on your current laptop low settings, then just do that. The decrease in settings is seriously barely noticeable.
UncleRukush1 votesI get way more then 60fps on everything very low but even after 5 min of playing i get lag through my entire matches. I just added some more ram so now have 8gs but i have an intel i3 which ive read all over can barely run any kind of game compared to the radeon in the lenovo. Ive done everything i can think of to my current laptop but can seem to get rid of that lag.
disregardable1 votesThat sounds like overheating or your wifi, neither of which can be fixed by a new laptop. Make sure your power settings are on high performance before you play, and make sure your laptop isn't getting hot while you play (ie, by lifting it up and having a fan blow underneath it). If that doesn't fix it, there is a support article you should go through in its entirety.
Eleshakai1 votesThe problem is the integrated video card. If you're looking to game on your laptop, you want a dedicated video card. They just work far better for things like gaming.
Even a device with slightly lower specs that has a dedicated vid card will outperform an integrated video with higher specs.
