I'm looking through all of these threads and I'm really astonished by the sheer meanness that some people are capable of. I'd imagine seeing all this kind of stuff could make anyone feel like trash on the best of days, so I felt obligated to come in here and give you an apology of sorts. I can only hope that you understand that these people are making up the vocal minority and that the majority of the community does not hate you. On the contrary, most people really appreciate both your contributions to the game and your patience in dealing with the community.

I would like to know how these people, who go ballistic over the existence of CB, and IS's preference for it, have the time and energy to care and rage about it as much as they do. They act like Riot is slaughtering whales or feeding pink slime to elementary students. They talk of a tragedy that does not exist, and it really tells of their mental health. I've seen people say things like, "**you **should listen to us," and, "you can't treat customers this way." These deluded children think that Riot is actually doing something wrong here... ONE employee told ONE thread of people to use CB when talking about a certain topic because that is his preference.

You OP, I like you. There are some actually constructive negative posts about the Beta itself but anything that personally attacks a specific person is just downright wrong. Flaming I can handle, trolling is just a part of life, but personal attacks is something that not only do I not understand but makes me disappointed that there are such hateful people in the world.

Yeah, there is some crazy unnecessary backlash to IS and it's all really childish. disagree with him or the way he handled whatever situation? Then voice your opinion, that's fine nobody will hate you for that, but do not fill it with unnecessary hate and bigotry.

The given nature of the internet at large is that anonymity leads to hostility. It's pretty easy to call someone out and beat their image to the ground when you yourself do not have an image to beat. The vast majority of people on the forums who rage and complain are only there to cause trouble, while those of us who really do appreciate the things Riot is doing for the game and community are playing the game instead of posting on the forums. Such is bound to happen in an environment such as this, it's best not to take things to heart, but to just ignore those wishing harm.

Most people are living in a dream. The trolls that iron is trying to avoid will just come here and up vote each other and down vote others.

Switching the format will solve nothing. Moderation would make the original forums workable. If Riot enforced the use of the other threads ie feedback, VU, ect for there discussions there would be way fewer problems.

Right now riot only responds to GD leaving the other sub forums empty wastelands. This is completely riots fault. They should of tried to actually fix the issue instead of going to redit and try to force a redit style i on the rest of us.

I personally hope that this BETA FAILS hard. The refusal of even trying in the normal forums does not deserve peoples unquestionable following.

IronStylus shouldn't have gotten all the hate he did, but I don't think he was entirely innocent either.

Riot should have known after all this time that GD doesn't want anything to do with the Reddit format, and people also get frustrated when they ask Riot a question, and a response really isn't one.

We have an innocent summoner asking a valid question, and then the parrot comes in plugging a thing that GD clearly doesn't like, not answering the question at all. At that point, Stylus should have bought some more wards, and would have been better off not commenting at all.
