Nasus top

So could somebody tell me what to do when you're farming up top getting stacks and your team continues to 4v5 and then complains that you're not there and they blame you for the loss, cause even when I do come and we keep losing and then no progress is made. Since the main source of his damage comes from stacking, I feel like I should just ignore them, but I don't know, any opinions on this?

Not a nasus main but for some reason I have fun tracking their stacks. By 20 minutes a competent nasus should have 275-300 stacks with the good ones having even more + tower/s. By this point your damage should be more than enough to blow up or least put some hesitation into their carries all while building tank. Throw in his utility of wither and spirit fire, they're really fight changing abilities.

However I do understand the need to farm stacks, but farming those stacks doesn't do much to win the game when your team losing 4v5's because a said nasus refuses to group. This is especially true with highly penalizing death timers and a game could be easily lost with a ace at 25-30 minutes. If not the game, they're getting 2-3 towers/objectives. At which point is extremely to difficult to come back from at the current state of the game.

Yes, you need your stacks. Stack as much as you can as often as you can in whatever lane you can.

Mid game try to keep your tele up to tele into team fights. Or back to base and then go help fight mid lane (that is where I see most of the fight happen anyway). Or drag. Also, a lot of this depends on what your teammates are doing. If they are getting slaughtered 4v5 then you are going to have to help more. But if they are holding their own then I will just keep split pushing and stacking.

Mid game you need to try to balance. Team fight some and stack some. Feel free to take CS from mid lane at that point.

Not all champions should be in teamfights, some should splitpush while hopefully your team can out rotate or play defensively. For instance if I end up playing Udyr, Tryndamere, or Nasus I split push like a mofo. I let my team know ahead of time though, because these champs are generally good duelists and f the enemy team sends someone over you can beat them. Nasus in this case should be taking objectives as fast as possible. The enemy team is more likely to rotate to fight you since you're taking towers and inhibs like no other. Then when the enemy team rotates your team pushes. That's the ideal scenario, but does need communication.

Early game nasus, its going to be brutal but as the game progresses you will outscale any top laner. your playing style consist of just farming till the 20-30 minute mark Nasus
