LP gain/loss

Hi guys, here is my story. I got into gold4 and that's when i stopped being matched with high silvers, low golds and started to being matched with low-mid-high golds only. That's also when i had 2 huge loss streaks, one was 1/6 W/L ,and then 2/7 i think, so i dropped back to gold 5, which is perfectly normal i guess, the competition was just hard enough for my level, most of these defeats were reeeeally close games, ofc i had my share of trolls and afks and enemy smurfs, but that was-is-and will always be happening. What troubles me though,is that now i get ~15 lp for win and lose ~25 for defeat. Is this fair?

You had a ton of loses and the system does not believe you are ready for higher elo so yes it would be counted as fair. when you win more the gain/lose ratio will ocne again even out if not have more gains then lose. It depends were the system believes your MMR is at.

LP gains and losses are by where your MMR is compared to what its expected to be for your league rank. Since you are losing more LP than you gain that means your MMR is lower than people of your rank. So you are really facing people lower than your rank so you are expected to win. Since you aren't winning at least half of those games you lose more so that your rank will fall to meet your low MMR.
