Survey! Does Personality REALLY Relate to Role? [Will Update With Data & Analysis]

A friend of mine who recently started playing was interested in collecting data for a survey to see if there was a connection between personality and roles. Here is their post:
Hey guys! So I just started playing league about two or three weeks ago, and one thing I definitely noticed that was quite contrary to what a friend told me - there were a LOT of people who wanted to play support. However, this is only within my friend group. Support in solo queue seems to be much rarer, which leads me to wonder - what if certain roles drew towards it certain personalities, and those personalities who played support just all happen to clump together? They could even have a problem of lacking ADCs and such.
A little Googling showed me that this was not a new topic. People have had in-depth discussions on this matter before. However...no one seems to have actually collected large amounts of data for analysis. And that's what I'm going to attempt to do. This will be based on the Myers Briggs 16 Personality types test. Currently we have about 1500 responses and some hints of recurrent patterns may be starting to show up. I will at least be able to tell you if there REALLY are no girls on the internet. All you gotta do is take the personality test, and then tell me the letters of your result in the survey. Alright. Since I said I would do some preliminary data assessment updates tonight if we reach 100 responses, and you guys blew way past that to 1000+, here's some fun stuff.
- Based on the survey of users who both 1) play league, and 2) use reddit, we have a 92.5% male and 7.5% female population.
- We have a 25% extrovert and 75% introvert community. While this leans pretty heavily towards the introvert side, we have a fairly healthy population of extroverts as well.
- The most wanted role for females tends to be support (34%) closely followed by mid lane (26%) and for males adc (22%) closely followed by mid (21%).
- Males are most commonly relegated to ADC role (22%) and females support role (54%).
- The average league girl seems to hate jungle. Top is also pretty low down on the preferred roles list, too. Choices are much more evenly spread out for guys, though guys also seem to dislike jungle. Not quite as much though.
More analysis to come as responses pour in. :)
