Applied to become a PBE tester but...

So I just want to say that I'm an avid League of Legends fan and I really admire some of the work that Riot Games is doing and applying it to the game. Two to three years ago when I started, I was vastly interested in wanting to learn more about the game itself. I could say that I really started to play the game at around mid-Season 4. At that time, I watched several YouTube videos about League of Legends in order to learn the basics of the game and I really got into it. At that point, I was going to be a big fan of one of the biggest games out there right now.

Now enough with the basic introduction and lets get to the point of this topic. While I was watching several videos of people playing on the PBE server, I really wanted to become part of the PBE community. So I decided to apply to become a PBE tester and boy it sure was exciting. I've heard from other people that the PBE applying process takes only couple of days, to several weeks, to several months, to even a year. So, unfortunately it's already been around 2 years and it still says that the PBE Application has been received. Now I want to know if there is another way besides just waiting to get accepted into the PBE server to be able to finally play on the PBE server. I really want to try out especially the new Assassin changes because it looks very neat!
