I was Permabanned?

After recent suspensions, I have rarely been toxic in this game and have been on my best behavior. However, I was being flamed multiple times during the course of recent games, so I retaliated. I understand that it was a mistake on my part but I do not understand why I was permabanned? There is a mute button in this game for a reason. It was not as if I was going out of my way to flame players. I understand the value in chat banning me if you really feel the need to but I would like a chance to appeal my ban or at least change it to a 2 week suspension. I've had my account since 2010 and have over hundreds of dollars invested into this account. I would like a chance to continue to play this game.

A mute button is no excuse to be toxic. The damage has already been done if a player is forced to mute you.

The permanent ban is more than likely due to your past suspensions. With the current system, there are 4 tiers of punishment:

1.) 10 game chat restriction 2.) 25 game chat restriction 3.) 14 day suspension 4.) Permanent ban

You start at tier one for your first punishment, and every subsequent punishment within a short enough period of time will advance you to the next tier. Because you have had previous punishments, you very likely had climbed through the lower tiers of punishment, and after your most recent games of being toxic, you received the next tier of punishment which would be a permanent ban.
