Garbage RIOT 14 day ban nonsense.

There is a lot of out of context stuff, so keep that in mind.

The teemo on our team refused to help me in lane, while attempting to take all of the cs he could, while he was "support teemo". The MF on the other team kept talking crap 24/7, though I wrecked him and his support 1v2 after he bragged about having 12 kills on me. The rest of my team was talking crap to me as well.

This is my first time getting in trouble on this account. Never been banned, no chat restrictions, no warnings, nothing. And they give me a two week ban for THIS.

RIOT must be getting extremely pathetic to be handing out two week bans for this. No homophobic slurs, no racism, no vulgar words, no intentional feeding, no afk'ing, no leaving, no verbal abuse. Rofl.

This company is becoming increasingly garbage as time goes by. :/

You know, I might have agreed if it were only the Teemo part. But you literally started calling your mid laner a troll for "kill stealing". Like wut?

I also hate when people keep saying "muted muted muted kid muted" but they don't actually mute. It's pretty stupid.

I've been seeing a number of these posts recently with interesting chat logs. While the chat logs are negative (Riot's policy is "if you have nothing good to say don't say anything at all") I generally wouldn't consider them 14 day ban worthy, probably just a chat restriction. It seems they're amping up their punishments to see it that helps reduce the number of offenses.

The specific punishment aside, I have a few comments on things you can avoid in the future to avoid annoying your team:

  1. Don't call people trolls who are apparently trolling. If they are obviously trolling people will notice, complaining about it isn't going to get you anywhere. In the few cases where you're wrong, (everyone makes mistakes) you'll look like an idiot to the team and make that person you're accusing angry at you.

  2. Don't tell people to report someone, (especially as I'm guessing you did, to the opposing team) everyone has eyes and if they see an issue they'll report it, if they don't see it then you telling them isn't going to make them see it, they'll more likely just lower their opinion of you and move on.

  3. "So glad you're getting banned teemo", don't wish the worst upon other people, it's starting to move beyond just the game and you're set against him now.

  4. Don't get angry at people for "being bad at the game" or playing poorly. Especially don't tell them they're bad. People have good and bad days, not only that but they may just be matched against someone who's better than them. If it's just their mechanics and decision making, remember that everyone has varying skill levels and just because you're in a game with someone of "inferior" skill level doesn't mean that you should be angry at them for not being able to do something you want them to. Even if we were to put all those points aside, abusing your teammates over a mistake will make them play to your expectations, which is worse. I had a support recently who went 0/3 in lane where I didn't die at all. She was being too aggressive and knew it. I said "calm down, we'll be fine". And her play turned around, she went on a 7 kill spree (mostly cleanup on fights where everyone died) and was crucial to our comeback in that game.

You know, after reviewing everything specifically I'd say a 14 day ban isn't too far off. Riot is trying to make a point that what you're doing is causing others to have an inferior experience. 14 days isn't that long and it gives you some time to come to these boards and read what other people think about it.

P.S. It's always worth pointing out, these points are equally if not more true in real life.

Come on, just read the last part where you are talking to MF. Not to mention the rest of the log. Not even one sentence contributed anything usefull to the game, no strategic calls, no complementing plays. Just you getting mad because a support potentially misclicked on a creep and got the last hit. Which probably triggered him into intentionally last hitting creeps. item 3070 item 3070

Yeah I got mad once for the first time in months and I instantly receive a permaban withouth any warning, also never have been suspended before so it was totally random. Atleast you get a last warning now, I would just drag the chat out of your screen if I was you. If you don't use the chat you can't get banned.
