I cannot login. This message appears every time I type in my password and press 'Enter'. Are servers down or what is going on? Worked fine yesterday.

I'm having the exact same problem. First tried to repair it then did a fresh install and still nothing.

I am getting the same problem, I have tried everything on their list of fixes with no luck. no luck with any password/ IE resets or patcher fixes. I dont want to reinstall for no reason.

Hey guys, have you tried going to leagueoflegends.com IN INTERNET EXPLORER and logging in there, leaving it logged in, then trying to log into the game on the client? That works for a lot of people and has been a historical problem.

Not sure the cause, but that's the workaround. HOWEVER, sometimes this workaround fails in Windows XP.

If you have Windows XP You may not be able to log in to leagueoflegends.com in IE. It will probably throw a javascript error.

Workaround for XP: with IE open, hit F12. This will open the developer tools window. Leave that open. Try to log in on leagueoflegends.com now. With that open, log into league in the client.

This is what worked for me.

Explain: My problem was that IE8 (the highest version of IE for XP) does not automatically define a "console" object in a .js file unless the dev tools are open. Not a problem in later versions of IE.

I had this problem and i went to my internet settings (type inetcpl.cpl on run (windows button+r))>the advanced tab> then went down to the Reset Internet Explorer settings and pressed the reset button.

Just dealt with this for like an hour.. What worked for me was to open up your "Internet Options" in internet explorer. Go to "advanced". Scroll ALL the way down and make sure you have all SSL and TLS settings checked.

I've been having this problem for a week now. Submitted a support ticket and was basically told they'd forward it to the higher ups. This is getting old quickly. How long does support typically take to respond?

Same here, worked fine yesterday and now I can't log on. "Did not receive response from the server". My friends can log on fine, it's only me.
