Annoying Pings

Whenever I start a game I usually don't respond until around 15-30 seconds which causes someone on my team to spam the annoying ping buttons and when I tell them to stop spamming they proceed to keep spamming it sometimes someone else even joins and sometimes this can go on for the whole game which is really annoying. Is there a way to mute this besides turning off all your sounds. Maybe add another button like the Ignore button but ignore someones specific pings.
