Suggestions for lol and the new forums.

I want to start of by saying the new forums is amazing but since there's a lot of players(one of the reasons for the new forums mentioned) the forums will need to be moderated. And I don't wouldn't expect for riot employees to have the time to do that, so have a group of people to help with the forums.

Next, I want to say playing with friends and with voice chat is a lot more fun. I love the ability to add friends but no real way to talk to them without giving them your skype or something similar which most people wouldn't want to do just for a few matches. So in game coms would be great and of coarse the ability to mute spammy players and report them.

Also I love all the cool stream overlays people have made but I would like to use one in game, not just a stream overlay. So basically custom hud and maybe a place to get them on the forums. Finally custom summoner icons and I understand some people will have inappropriate pics so simply have a way to report them and have the ability to have a custom pic taken away.

I think allowing community moderators pulled from the forum users would be fun, but the simple fact is Riot is actually rolling in money, so if I was them I would rather just hire some more people to help out so they can make sure these hired people will most assuredly be civil and easier to track.

On a personal opinion I'm against in-game voice chat, but I can see it being useful. There can always be a choice to have it, choice to enable it, choice to match make with other voice chat users, etc. so while I will not support it I can't say its a bad idea.

I would LOVE custom HUD's, similar to a drag and drop like Tera Online would be awesome! Sadly I can almost guarantee you 2 reasons why this will never happen 1) current HuD works so why devote resources? 2) Custom content (icons included) would take ENORMOUS amounts of time and effort to allow, along with even more resources to maintain the system features like compatibility and creation tools.

Thanks for posting though, forum could always use more people who aren't afraid to speak out with their ideas, more the merrier :)

mumble, team speak, skype. that's what i use with friends. i don't really think LoL needs the extra communication in lieu of pings. pings are great. furthermore, RIOT has said that they have no intention of adding a talk function to the client. and personally i don't really feel the need to talk to strangers anymore than just pinging, the number of whiny kids who would be on chat. shudders

i could get behind custom huds. the custom icons i don't really care for. i'd be happy with a wider variety. and maybe some other icons/tokens to show achievements. but i don't really care about those things either.
