Feedback about a permaban from years ago. I'd like community response.
Lengthy but here is my support ticket. I was given a permaban years back, and I to this day feel it was unjust. All I did was cuss a few times and rage at people such as those who started shit talking the team or myself, or people who fed. This was a reaction I had because to me, and many others, people who do such are stealing peoples time investment of anywhere from 20-50 minutes. You can't leave the game, you get reported and banned. You can't do anything but sit and take it. So some people lash out in anger and say some things. I never once threatened, I never once used racial slurs, I never hacked, nothing I ever did went beyond cussing out a toxic player ruining the experience. Yes, I am aware my retaliation may have further dampened it, but my words were NEVER unprovoked. Most importantly, my words and actions were NEVER extreme and I guarantee the people reporting me for such never lost sleep over it or were truly offended beyond that game. Here is my plea to Riot to get my account back that has nearly $500 invested into it:
** ME ** This is a follow-up to your previous request #16662793 "Suspension Review"
Writing again...I just read an article ( http://www.pcgamer.com/riot-reinstates-permabanned-league-of-legends-pro-for-the-first-time-ever/ ) ...also with reading this article I've read a vast amount of related materials. I still to this day do not understand how such a harsh punishment can be carried out to me for simple trash talk. The WORST I've ever done was cuss at someone. Yet, I am punished in the same manner as people who make real life threats, hack, or worse. Now, to add insult to injury, I am reading that some of these players (like this Jensen pro) are being reinstated and the permabans lifted, although their offense was not only very severely against Riot's policies, but it was ILLEGAL as well. So how is it that they receive a review and a turn-around on their permaban, but me (who just trash talked and cussed) remains a lifelong ban. It's just ridiculous on the level that I have almost $500 invested into my LoL account, and I never committed any SERIOUS acts to deserve such punishment. I ask that my case be reviewed by a panel of devs or have a majority vote. It's been several years now since I've played, and since my ban you (Riot) have made a change to treat players to reform rather than raw punishment. Well I have no way of showing you my reform with no chance being given. I was younger then and going through a lot of real life stresses that gave me a short fuse. I acted out quickly against players I perceived as another source of further stress on me. I used LoL as a way to cool off from the realities of being an adult, and when someone would come along and feed or troll or talk trash to me, I would retaliate with words. Nothing more, I never acted out unprovoked, and I never took it past the one in-game experience with that player, and it never went past words. Never made threats. Never hacked. Never went extreme. Riot claims to only dish out permabans on people who have acted out in extreme ways, and I do not feel I fit the bill. Give me a chance to prove time has given me the reform I needed. If this pro can be forgiven for his illegal activities, then forgive my foul mouth. Please have this reviewed by many Riot officials and reply to me with proof as such. If, after my final plea here, it is still deemed that I do not deserve a second chance, then I will give up on my account and league of legends. Thank you for your time in replying and hopefully reviewing my case.

** ME ** Ok, thank you very much! I look forward to speaking with someone and hopefully being given the opportunity to show that a combination of time, maturation, and the passing of troubled times have all improved how I react to negative stimuli in video games. I feel a review of my case and the incidents that put me in this situation in the first place will show that the offenses are all just small fixable things that just accumulated. Keyword being fixable, years of "time out" and thinking about it definitely sunk in and took it's course for reform to be possible. :)
** RIOT ** Hey Summoner,
We don't lift Tribunal suspensions or perma-bans for any reason and we will not be making an exception in this case.
Please note that every player punished by the Tribunal was given at least 4 chances to reform prior to being permanently banned. In your case, you were given at least the same 4 such opportunities to improve your behavior and were judged by your fellow players to have made the choice not to do so.
As for the pro player mentioned in the article you linked, we did not restore Incarnati0n's account to him, we simply allowed him to play the game again on a new account. Before this happened, he was not allowed to play the game in any capacity. When we unbanned him, we were allowing him to play the game in a highly controlled and supervised manner and, now that he is unbanned, his new account will continue to be monitored. However, he will never receive access to his original account.
More generally, almost anyone is allowed to create a new in-game account, even if they've been banned before. However, this particular ruling is not in any way an indication that we're going to mass un-ban accounts and allow other offensive players back into the game.
Under the circumstances, we will not be lifting or otherwise modifying the Tribunal permanent suspension of this account.

** ME ** Ok, so basically my nearly $500 that I spent on supporting riot and creating ties to a game that I enjoyed, is being hijacked and I am being told to start over with my expenses? Essentially that is the only thing accomplished by this. I do not see how this decision caters to "reform". All it does is steal my money and says "try again". This does not make me want to create another account and give my reform another opportunity. Why would I wish to spend money on a company that seizes my wallet for foul language? I would gladly given it another chance to prove maturation and time have changed me, even if only given a 'sudden death' type trial run, where one offense is it. But not if the only thing in captivity here is my money. What sort of message does that send and how does that label Riot as a company? You are telling me that I am able to create a new account and try again, telling me I am welcome to play again. BUT I am not allowed to access what my money/donation/contribution/support for riot has bought? That is the ONLY difference between my old account and creating a new one. Thus, even if I were not reformed, if I was still "toxic" with my foul language, the tribunal has fixed nothing. I can still be a member of the community, I just can't use my skins? Essentially you have given me a $500 fine for cussing to others who started with me. You truly feel this is fair and supports reform? And to the subject of me being given ample opportunities to show reform...I think not. All of my offenses came in a short period of time. I was under a lot of stress in real life and had a short fuse, it isn't like I showed years of toxic behavior. Often times I would have a suspension, and when I came back I would be suspended the next day for something that happened back in the same time period (sometimes even the same day) as what had me suspended before. How can this not be taken into consideration? Please reply to me with clear logic on how all of this is fair and tell me with a straight face that Riot cares about reforming rather than punishing. This is an over exaggerated punishment and unfair. Have you actually looked at the "cases" against me? Tell me they warrant a life long ban on an account that I have so much invested into. Please tell me that you have looked into them and still think that. I wasn't even given a fair "chat ban" ever, as it was not yet an option. I think you, as a company, should at LEAST give something extreme like a year long ban, before telling someone that for the rest of their lives they can't access their product anymore. Especially given my individual situation. I never did anything extreme, and I guarantee you that none of the players that reported me were TRULY offended in real life and gave two, excuse me, shits about it after the game was over. It was all trivial. Yet I am punished in the same manner as a person who DDOS hacked people. Please give me a real reply to everything I have said.
