thoughts on the chat restriction punishment

I know 3 people and myself who have been restricted for around 200 games now, but not a 200 game restriction like 30-40-50 at a time, back to back right after completion of a restriction. Over 5 restrictions in a row in my case 7 on another guy who doesn't even type so idk how he got restricted.

Do you think these restrictions are too harsh? I got told that this guy hopes my mom and sister get raped in the street by a crack head. So I told him he is an asshole and deserves that fate on himself for even saying that (all because I ganked him 2 times). I mute him, and go on with my life. The next morning, I have a restriction. Thats the only bad thing I can remember typing in the past 3 months.

So, again, do you think they are being too harsh? I think their "Behavior team" isn't doing their job correctly if people are getting restricted for defending themselves and then muting someone

You know it checks what you say while chat restricted, right?

If you're using your chats for solely insulting, it's going to go up a few. If you still flame, but not all the time, it may go down a few. And I guarantee you that if you say nothing at all you'll get the same number right after that.

I love the chat restrictions. It's made playing this game much more bearable lately.

This automated chat restriction needs to stop. I could see if it works well, but if I almost don't type a single word in all chat and the Enemy team reports me because they lose, how is it fair that I get chat restrictions and can't type to my team mates? This needs to stop and be re-evaluated. I am %100 positive that I don't chat in all chat. I play with a 5 man team in "Normal" games almost all the time. Then for some reason I get a chat restriction because the other team reported me for making them look silly in game plays. Now I can't communicate with my friends online in the game. Please prior to restricting anyone from chat, check the logs first and judge on that. Tribunal is flawed. Everyone clicks guilty without reading. I have done that for years and get upper %95-%99 accuracy ratios. An automated system like this will not work and it will punish players that should not be punished.
