The pop up that said "This will count as a loss" wasn't a clue that dodging was a bad idea? Even if they were saying they were going to troll you could've played out, had a chance to win, and then reported them. By dodging you very simply punished no one but yourself.

Sometimes feeders are perfect low gold value destractions. If they're harrassing enough (baiting, being chased around by two, making the jungler have a hard time) it could actually make it likelier for you to win. I had a Kassadin that did that, he got killed over and over but we managed to win because they focused him every time, chased him around and other lanes were managing well.
