My account was just permanently banned instantly after my game. I feel it was uncalled for and a little extreme, instead I could of gotten Chat restrictions, Ranked restrictions, a 14 day ban atleast. Please Riot help me with this. All my time, money, gone for good. This is the reform card for it.

Down votes or not to what I'm about to say, but I'm happy to see stuff like this.

Tired of the kiddies who get a chat restriction for acting a fool, which does nothing so they just keep acting this way because they can get away with it.

Nice to see Riot is finally saying "no, you CAN'T get away with acting like this".

Also there is no way they went straight to permanently banning you with no warning, no previous bans, and no chat restrictions, so that is obviously a lie to state that. That isn't how their system works. You get way too many chances.

I see you going on about your loses (monetary), all the time, but maybe you should have been worried about all that before acting a fool, instead of after the fact. You didn't care about ruining games for others, acting like a jerk, and being toxic previously because you thought there were no consequences.

Thank you Riot for showing guys like this that it doesn't matter how much money you spend, how much time you play, that acting like a jackass isn't okay anymore.

Yes I said that in game, obviously I was though. I don't know man, worst word I said was retard, they can mute me, I can get chat restrictions, ranked restrictions, a 14day+ ban, but I don't think I should be permanently banned for this.

First off, having a mute button does not indicates that the other should have the rights to be trash-talking as much as he wants.

Second, having a permabanned status right after your last game pretty much says that you were also toxic & reported in your other games as well., similar to how Dunkey behaved.

It's ok, we all have bad days. I think your being defensive in the wrong way, if I were you I would own up to being toxic and apologize to Riot and your team telling them that you will try everything in your power so that it wouldn't happen again. Rather than saying you didn't do/deserve it. (Sorry for terrible grammar it's late and I'm tired)

I read this, and it made me happy that I won't ever encounter you in a game. What confirms this is a lack of accepting of responsibility on your part.

So let me get this straight, you get chat restricted 3 times for toxic behavior, do nothing to change it and continue to talk trash to your teammates. Riot's ToS strictly prohibits your behavior and YOU are responsible for losing the money and time you have invested in this game - not the system, not the Riot employees who took action on your account, not the people who reported you, nor anyone else.

Take responsibility for your actions and learn from them. Permaban well deserved IMO.

In that case, this is probably relevant information for you. From Lyte:

We're currently testing a 3-strike general system, which means that Strikes 1 and 2 can be any penalties whether it's a game ban, a chat restriction, a ranked restriction, etc. We find that giving anymore than 3 chances (regardless of punishment) is ineffective and causes a lot of collateral damage on players' experiences. In other words, we don't see a positive increase in reform rates when we give players a 7-day first before a permanent ban if they've already gotten 2 other chances.

Doesn't matter, I've never been toxic enough to get a 7 day ban, 14 day ban, never ranked restricted in my life ever, but instant perma ban. Seems over the top to just lose everything after 3 years for typing in a chat where I can be muted.

Its almost like you don't read. It clearly states after 3 punishments you are subject to a permaban. Doesn't matter about the escalation anymore. 3 strikes and you're out of the game.

It does matter about the escalation though, that's where you're wrong, it's almost like you don't read. With the new patch 5.18, their new system is all about escalation, with a permanent ban after a 2 week ban. Everyone's restrictions are being wiped clean, as if they have never been restricted before. I believe I deserve this chance as well. Never been past a Chat restriction, but yet permanently banned for a chat log not even that horrible in my eyes, also taking into account that they can just mute me in game. The fact that people don't mute me is their own fault.

It doesn't matter what you feel about the system, how you feel you should be punished or not, or anything else. You are obviously toxic, were chat restricted 3 different instances for it, and refused to chill out because you obviously thought you would never be properly punished.

Welcome to reality, you are permabanned. It doesn't matter how bad it is to you, it really doesn't. If you were reported so often that you got a chat restriction once, that is bad enough. I've played since 2010 and I've never been chat restricted, warned, banned, nothing close to it. I have an account on 3 different servers, and never once gotten as much as a slight cough of a warning.

You have obviously been toxic for a while, have 3 chat restrictions pretty close to one another (the chat restriction system hasn't been out THAT long, as I helped test it and the leaver buster system). The fact that you act like a jackass is your fault, not the fault of the people having to mute you for acting a fool. Just accept your ban and move on.

Riot doesn't want you here anymore, and those of us who play the game for fun, and not playing it to listen to a guy like you be a jackass, don't want you here either.

Maybe learn to control your mouth? Seeing what your card says and what Lyte's message says, you were given more than enough chances and didn't learn to shut your mouth. So they shut it for you. Permentantly. Guess you gotta start at level 1 again or leave.

7 day bans aren't really a thing anymore. And the above chat would have earned you a 14-day ban, if it hadn't been escalated due to your previous sanctions (the word "retard," used in a derogatory fashion, is considered a form of hate speech).

But this was obviously not an "insta" perma-ban. You were given three previous opportunities to reform - and chose not to.

Its over for you, regardless if you feel it is worth perm ban or not, they make it clear in their ToS that they can ban you whenever they please and without an explanation. Also I am sure I read somewhere they will never look over a perm ban since if you got to that point, they don't want you. Since its impossible to get perm banned if you were never in trouble before.

Yep.

  • you did spent time at League, and it was wonderful.
  • purchasing stuff with your money does not mean you have free access to do anything bad or illegal at Lol.
  • as you said, you already had 3 temp bans(chat restriction actually). Riot clearly stated that the first few strikes can be any type of punishment, such as yours.
  • you used up the strike slots and still never improves. Therefore, permaban is the excellent choice for you.

And yes, it IS right.

Not to the extent that this thread makes it seem.

Riot is giving people 3 strikes now, which means if you get restricted, temp banned, anything twice, then they assume if you continue to act like this enough for a third punishment, you refuse to reform and they refuse to keep hand holding to try and work with you.

It's pretty dumb that you can get chat restricted 3 different times and keep being the same toxic fool you were clearly being in the chat you shared, and expect not to be punished.

If after 3 different times of being chat restricted (which is riot's way of very clearly saying you are being toxic in chat, stop it), then you aren't going to learn or improve.

It sounds like you expect to just get away with how you talk for as long as you want to, but are suddenly surprised when Riot goes "uh, no". A permanent ban is not extreme in YOUR case, because you were given multiple chances, and ignored those chances, and continued acting the same way.

You are toxic and deserve a punishment as you just admitted, and you got a 4th one, which is one more than Riot themselves said they would give, so sounds like you were lucky not to be banned already.

A mute button being present doesn't give you free reign to act like an asshole in hopes they will just mute you. Take your punishment as it is deserved, and maybe one day you'll learn from it....or just keep being angry and rage at people and blame everyone else for punishing you for acting how you do.

Either way, glad not to have to ever see you in one of my games.

This is the reason I have stopped using chat for anything other than commending other players. I don't even respond at all when people are raging at me.

I know I was toxic, there's no denying it. I deserve a punishment, but I think a permanent ban is too much for what I've done. I've been playing since 2012, spent a lot of money, lost everything I've done on this game for that. I just wish Riot could help me with this..

According to the new system, he had to have been either temp banned or have a high number of chat restrictions previously, the OP is just not telling us that, or claiming it has never happened. The system won't just perma ban you for the first offense.

Someone else mentioned it, but it is the new three strike rule, so the OP was obviously punished at least twice previously and just isn't sharing that to try and garner sympathy.

No they just don't care about the part of the community that obviously doesn't care about anyone but themselves and acting a fool.

I'm quite happy to see Riot finally growing a pair and putting their foot down for people who think it's okay to act like idiots. If you can't act like a civil human being, then I think I can speak for the community and say we don't want you here.
