After the 6.6 patch on 3/23 there have been massive fps issues. Load into game like normal and any commotion on screen will cause fps to drop below 5 fps. This is seemingly only when playing on a Mac and did not exist prior to the patch. The voices in game come across as 'robotic' and when looking at an activity monitor a LoL game runs 120%+ CPU. Super confusing and makes the game unplayable.
Same HERE, IM GETTING FPS DROPS DURING TEAM FIGHTS. Before this Patch, I NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER got Fps drops or lag issues. So im 150% certain, this is Mac client related. Something must have bugged out for the Mac client update on Riots end for the patch 6.6. I also get the buggy sound that sounds like dropped frames for sound.

This needs to be fixed ASAP. Hard to play and just down right annoying. Seems like the only way to kinda play is by turning sounds off, but I honestly like hearing the sounds. Please fix Riot!
Playing on MacBook Air
Same here. I will randomly get this sound issue where all in game sounds are sometimes delayed and sound like a demented robot, it also sounds like my speakers are busted. But other times it will be normal. I turned my quality down to the lowest and my fps didn't budge, still at 20 or below when usually I'm at 70 or above. And normally I have my quality at medium for everything and still maintain 70 fps and above. This fps drop has caused me several games and its annoying. They need to fix this fast.

For the love of God Riot, instead of making witty and self pandering patch notes that only you would find funny, actually fix this shit please. I am also, naturally affected by this, I was playing perfection before the recent patches (6.5-6.7) and for a super resource rich company like you, this shows negligence on your part to still have this issue unfixed.
in fact you have not even mentioned it once, anywhere. Fix this, I am literally done like so many other (Finally Mac!) users with this complete BS. I want to and have a right to play this sanity test of a game like everyone else who has a PC! I have lost who even knows how many games thanks only to this and zero else.

Yup. Same thing here. This post needs more upvotes. Riot needs to see this. Playing on a MacBook Air here and I thought something was wrong with my computer. I didn't have anything running in the background and I even deleted some files because I thought maybe I was running out of memory space. But I guess this is a problem with the patch. This is the worst result of a patch in a long time, and I've been playing for a few years. Please fix this. I've been climbing ranked. (Currently Silver 3) And I would really like to play some more ranked, but as long as this continues, I can't afford to lose LP to it, like I did earlier today before I knew about the problem.
I'm having the same problem... it's really annoying: FPS drops and robotic sounds even during the skirmishes and little trades, it's frustrating. Riot please, help.
It's so bad ;_; logged to upvote pls fix this. Whenever there are team fights for example, my fps drops from 50 to 20 and the sounds begin lagging (I guess? Not sure how to describe but it's a problem). I would ask randoms if they have the same issue but I believe it's just Mac users.

Yeap I have a MacBook Air and having exact same issues, slight FPS lag, major sound issues! Since patch 6.6 only!
I don't normally post on these boards but the issues are actually next level ridiculous. Framerate drops to -1000 during team fights and makes the normal amount of packet loss extra annoying.
The sound issue is half robotic half sounds like my sound card /computer is about to blow up lol. There's usually issues when patches come out but this is a little much .
Exact same issue here! Everything seemed to be working fine this patch until I got into some teamfights. Then all of a sudden my fps basically drops to 0 and I'm dead. Hopefully riot fixes this soon. The game is unplayable for me right now...
EDIT: Apparently there's a temporary solution where you can "disable all sounds" in the esc settings and then turn it back on. I've tried this in-game and it seems to be working for the most part. Definitely not a permanent solution, but something to have in handy when that lag kicks in.
same here rito... this is drastically affecting all gameplay but particularly teamfights where, as people are saying, fps drops below 5. PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE AND REPAIR

Ditto, running a 2010 Macbook Pro on El Capitan and had no issues with fps until this patch, and now teamfights periodically become unplayable. Upvoted.
I have a mac as well, and for a couple of days I was also having fps issues in teamfights where it would drop to about 5 fps and I don't usually play with sound because im on skype with friends a lot of the time, but my sound may have been glitched as people have said above, without me noticing. This lasted for about 2 games. For some reason, (and I didn't even try to resolve it) after those two games and a computer restart my lag stopped abruptly and I am now back up to my usual 120 fps. I don't know what caused it to start in patch 6.6 or what caused it to stop randomly, but I agree that Riot needs to resolve this issue for mac users.

Riot needs to fix this. 4 fps durring fights. When the game is unplayable it should be their #1 concern
I was really hoping they would fix this in the new patch released today (6.7) but they haven't even mentioned it. Acknowledgement of this issue would be a great first step in the right direction.

You are a multi-million dollar company, if not a billion dollar company. Riot (or should I say Tencent) has the financial capabilities to deal with this. Please stop being bigots and help us out.
