Biggest dicks are in gold/plat?

so first of all i feel like i need to clarify a few things: yes, i am silver. i was silver last season, and this season i qualified bronze 1 and climbed to silver, but i dont tend to be a big ranked player. also, this is speaking entirely of personal experiences.

so i play a lot of normals, blind pick. its faster then draft, i dont really care much about the meta, and i tend to play for fun. yet ive noticed a trend lately. the biggest trash-talkers and outright obnoxious assholes tend to be gold and above. i go aatrox top vs yi. the yi wins lane. not by much, but theres a clear power difference towards the end of laning phase. he starts boasting about easy lane and calling gg easy and all this crap. when i ask why he feels he needs to say that he just keeps talking shit. the biggest answer i see to anything is "shut up, silver" like if my ranking immediately determines my worth as a human being and league player. now i rarely find silvers talking shit or bronze's. maybe its because they know itll get shoved in their face immediately? i dont know. its just that from my expexriences, the biggest trash-talking, boastfull, and downright annoying assholes tend to hang out in the gold/plat category. i have a little theory: they reached there one way or another and immediately think theyre tough shit, even though gold really isnt all that high, neither is plat. most diamond players ive played against were nice people, even ready to point out flaws in my playstyle, which i appreciated.

anyways sorry, im ranting a bit here. i just wanted to hear your thoughts, do you think the gold/plat players are the biggest assholes, or is it just how it turned out for me? lemme know, thanks!

So honestly I feel the biggest ducks are silver by the nature of it being the biggest group. Also most silver's just want the gold tag. They all think they are almost there. And A lot of slivers spike into gold and then fall into a s3 or $2 Mr. Making more players think they are almost there.

Then you run into slivers like u. Who don't care about the meta and just pick what ever. You cost people games. You are taking a sub optimal champ and hoping it magically works.

Silver

Silver hands down.

I'm gonna tell you a thing about Silvers. Because they're not in Bronze, they think they're hot shit and are total assholes about it. Golds, for the most part have been pretty chill, they're in a good spot. Bronzes will own up to being average or below most the time (B1 are salty as fuck tho). In my experience.

Yeah but Silver players are in a weird inbetween spot that rustles their jimmies. A lot.

i dont see why youre blaming me about costing people games. i play normals 95% of the time and never "break the meta" in ranked. and even when i go outside the meta i try my best to play good.
