Why does it feel like the report feature is useless
report function has just become "he said something i didnt like, reported" regardless of whether its against tos

soooo? just ignore them. 1. if you didn't do anything aginst the TOS, you won't get TOS'd. 2. Repeatedly reporting people incorrectly gets punished.
So just ignore and move on.
Also, I've noticed, if you just ignore people when they get toxic, and avoid passive-aggressive comments and the like (just keep it to pure, genuine compliments or silence) you get paired with fewer trolls and ragers. Trust me, it is an easy trap for some people to fall in to (including myself, for a long time). But stay genuinely positive, never type out nastiness, even if you are thinking it, and you get paired with much more enjoyable players. Check out my match history. I had a recent run of troll allies... then I realized I may have been making things worse by pointing it out.... and now, out of the last 20 games, I've only lost 3 or so. And two of those were from horrible network issues (had to afk a while, restart computer and router, etc). So yeah, stay positive, and NEVER complain. compliment only. and when you have a reportable issue with a teammate, report after the game, but never mention that you will to any of the players. works a charm.
