A question about curse voice

So, recently I've seen some threads saying that curse voice is allowed because it's simply a speaking platform like team speak. Anyone know if this is true?

It was 'illegal' because it automatically invited your teammates into a call. Now they have to click the link and have control over what they hear.

Yup it's definitely legal at this point. Lots of popular streamers like BoxBox use it all the time.
