Smurfs have killed my first look on the game

It seems to me that either Riot is banning too many players, and because of that there are a lot of smurfs, or that people simply want to stomp new players. After playing 3 games, I had absolutely no fun at all, not even a smidgen of fun, it was torture really. My first game, for the whole game, was a bunch of people calling eachother noobs (Shouldnt we all be noobs?) And the same goes for my next 2 games. Additionally, the enemies have all obviously played before, and were pulling off very logical maneuvers that new players wouldn't be able to understand.

I agree with you, League has a MASSIVE level curve. When you first play a bot game, it seems easy but then your thrown into a world of level 5 new players and challenge Tier pros. Be it things not taught in the tutorial, (ex: Jungle, which annoys me cause I wanna learn how to Jungle.) or its just things that you just learn over time playing. I do think they need a game mode for accounts under level 15.

What they should really do is force all smurf accounts to be linked back to a main account through IP tracking. That way they can make everyone who is using a smurf account play at a separate queue specifically for smurfs.

World knows they have the ability to do this.

That's why it's generally a good idea to just play vs Bots at low levels. However, I do agree the smurf situation is horrid and I still remember getting destroyed by Smurfs when I was first starting out.

There's supposed to be some sort of system in place to match smurfs vs smurfs, but clearly it isn't fully functional. It might just be because you're essentially playing the first 3-5 games on the account, it might be the same for these smurfs, and thus they probably haven't been caught by the system yet. Just do some co-op vs AI until maybe level 8, hopefully there won't be too many smurfs around after that. Hopefully...

Do co op tile level 10 . Thier is nothing you are going to learn in real games if you are really new.

If you are really new, then it makes sense to do Co-op vs AI. But if your level 5-10, you need some basic experience with PvP and the learning curve on that is quite hard.

Not really. All the smurfs are running around at 5-10. With 110+ champs the has plenty to learn in co op. Plus doing co op without runes and masteries is harder than most people think. If he is beating beginner then move to normal. Their is still a challenge in their for a new account.
