I don't understand why you're even allowed to report players.

I just got out of a game in which i won. I was reported for "Harassment: Offensive Language". I did not say or do anything to receive this report. The only thing i did was tell someone to stop using the word "%%%%%" because as an African American male I took offence to this. I told him to stop using that racial slur but they wouldn't stop and they continued to use it and say it was only a word. I told them it was not it was a racial slur that offended me. I knew how crappy the reporting system is so i didn't mind to report them, I still am in shock that I was reported for telling them to stop using a term i took offence to. Their summoner names are "MAGNTA" and "Pythonic" please if anybody could do something about this it would be greatly appreciated.

Only two groups of people say the word. Uneducated black people and teenage white kids.

Yeah I know how you feel. I hate the word and I am white. I spent a long time in the military and have a lot of experience with all kinds of cultures but the one thing that really pisses me off is the use of that word in any shape or form and it should be dealt with accordingly.

Unfortunately you are going to get at least one response from some asshole who will overlook the real problem and tell you that you can get in trouble for doing what you did. I won't say what because I think you should be able to. As I am writing this though I am sure that some twat already corrected you and didn't even say a damn word about the real problem.

It's against forum policy to publicly shame other summoners. I would recommend removing their summoner names from your post as other topics have been deleted for it.

I have a question about your hatred of the word..... If a white friend were to use the word to your face in a non-hurtful manner like joking around, how would you feel about it? I'm not trying to start a war here or anything, the topic itself just intrigues me.

Some things you should probably be aware of:

Those warnings are intended to be issued sometime after they're triggered - so it's unlikely to be related to the game you received it after.
Those warnings don't validate the reports that trigger them, because they bear no consequence - they're simply a heads-up, to help positive/neutral players who may be tilting to keep from racking up more reports.
Those warnings aren't issued based on a single report - or even the reports from a single game. Rather, they're issued when there is a "spike" in reported games against your account.
If you aren't using the report system when it's appropriate, you're part of why the report system isn't as effective as it could be.
Name-and-Shame (as you've done by placing the summoner names in your post) is heavily frowned upon, and can result in posts being deleted. It would be in your interests to remove the names from your post, particularly because leaving them there isn't going to help you.

Don't let them know you are going to report them they will automatically return the favor by reporting you. Mute them. Problem solved.
