New windows 10 update crashes

I just auto updated windows 10 yesterday and now whenever I turn on my computer I get 5 minutes of use before it crashes and says the program I'm using has stopped working. It will let me end the process but when I click End Process the window goes away and nothing happens until I click the screen and the same window pops up again. Is anyone else having this issue? I can't even click shut down on my computer because the task bar is inaccessible when this happens. Please help.

What version of Windows were you on before? Have you tried using the 5 minutes to check for updates? Have you tried booting the computer in Safe Mode?
