I was wondering if it was all right to have two accounts on the same email. Would it do any harm to have them on the same email on the same server? (North America). It's just my friend started playing league and i don't want to play a game as a level 30 account. I've been reading about stuff like "the signup doesn't need a real email," are there any downsides to that and is that true? thanks for reading.
ModWuks3 votesThe downsides of not using a valid email and verifying the email is that the account recovery process becomes a lot more difficult if your account is compromised. Furthermore, you can't submit tickets to Riot Games Player Support unless your account has a verified email. These are just a few of the downsides of not using an account with a verified email :P

You also get an IP boost for verifying your email.

I don't believe you're able to register a second account on the same region with the same email.

Use valid email - yes. Using a new account may help in getting your friend accommodated, but just MMR is very flexible at lower levels, so you might want to let him play the first few games by himself so he doesn't get smurf detected.
I'm not sure about the specifics about smurf detection, but it's possible that high win percentages may play a role in it.

I have 3 accounts on euw all linked to the same email and i never had any problems with it and i played since season 2 you can safely get more then 1 account on a email
