League of Legends Queue System Ain't Doing Its Job

So I noticed for the past few games of League of Legends I've played, I keep getting people who are ranked WAY higher than me and my friends. I started rank first time this season and I am silver 4. My friends are also silver who barely played for a half a year. I also have a more experienced friend who was first time Gold 5. However, we've gotten plats on the enemy team like 3 times in a row. What is more ridiculous is that my brother, who is UNRANKED, played a blind pick with one of his silver friends. AND THEY GOT A DIAMOND IN THAT GAME... pls fix queue system
