Anime Expo 2016?
Is there any news on if Riot will be having a booth at anime expo this year? They were not there last year and were missed by many. The only league related panel was overflowing in 2015...

Below is some information that Rioters posted last year regarding their goals for the 2015 year/season. While no such outline has been posted about 2016 yet, hopefully the North American regional team was able to get the data and information they needed from their participation in other community events last year. Regardless of whether Riot will be holding a booth, I know that many Rioters attend Anime Expo. Should there not be a booth this year, maybe we can work out a meeting place with the community and Riot :3 I'm sure that there'll be some information coming out in the following weeks, and as we approach the summer. Fingers crossed!
We’re still learning and have lots of new things we want to tackle, which means further changes to our event strategy in 2015. Broadly, this year we’re going to shift our focus away from some of the bigger cons and instead experiment with new event formats and, more importantly, new locations.

We had a great time at Anime Expo last year and it was awesome meeting you guys there and supporting a bit the great (and super warm) cosplay gathering that Kohalu has organized. As part of our events strategy for this year we're not going to have a booth at Anime Expo, but we're definitely going to look into ways of supporting the cosplay community there. We will keep you updated on this closer to the date though.
