Good Pick for Top Lane

I'm going to reach level 30 soon, and i want a good champion for top lane. I currently play and in lane, but i want to have a larger pool of champions to use in top lane. All of my runes are for AD champions only. I'm thinking of buying , , or . I don't want to waste ip on a champion that will get banned very often, and i'm looking for a champion with a high damage and high sustain, but also someone that is easy to play or learn. please give me information about champions, and recommend specific champions for me to buy. Thanks.

Nasus is a decent start.

Some good top lane picks right now are Jax, Renekton, Wukong, Rengar, and I think Warwick is really strong top lane as well. Try those out. Warwick, Rengar, and Renekton have great sustain and typically aren't banned often. Jax is very strong, but is banned quite often.

Jax has always been a strong top laner. He's easily countered by Garen and Darius, but if you can make it to late game, you'll be able to fight nearly anyone.

Renekton is 'the' top laner. A heavy AD Bruiser, with great damage, CC, tankiness, and sustain. All around a good pick.

MonkeyKing doesn't have sustain until you build it, but around LVL 6, you can fight anyone with a well played E->Q->R combo.

Rengar is a great champion for sustaining in lane. He is tanky, has great sustain and damage throughout the game. Lane bully into a tanky assassin/fighter late game. Did you see him in the cinematic?! What a badass.

Warwick is especially interesting. People underestimate what he can do. His passive along with a Doran Shield/Blade will give crazy amount of sustain in lane. You won't be able to push or harass very well, but Warwick can 1v1 like a god. His Blood Scent gives him Baron Control and a way to quickly escape from a gank.

I'd say go jayce. Definitely a top tier top laner right now

Between the champs you suggested, I'd say Gangplank = Renekton > Jayce for you.

Although none are banned a lot, you'll see an occasional Renekton or Jayce ban. I'd suggest staying away from Jayce, because of how hard he is to pick up, IMO. In the long run, Renekton is going to do more for you, but GP's really freakin' easy to pick up (qq -> gg). You also can't underestimate his base hp, the highest in the game at lvl 1. You can cheese a great many toplaners who don't expect him to be so freakin' tanky at lvl 1.

As an aside, you play teemo with AD runes :(

Most of the time, I would defnitely say Jax or Rengar. They are not too difficult to learn, great top lanes, etc.

PERSONALLY (I don't like running the meta, imma rebel :3) I would get Sion and Mundo. Just me.

Mordekaiser top lane. Unless they have teemo, darius, or zed, you will win any matchup. 2 points in E then max Q for isolated damage.
