Need Summoner Feedback!

Hi Summoners,

I am trying to start a new YouTube Channel with content I have yet to see from any players/streamers/YouTubers (you get the point) and I would love some feedback or advice on the matter.

The concept is a League of Legends challenge-based channel. To be more specific, there will be weekly challenges that I will post and summoners can attempt to complete them throughout the week. Upon completion, summoners will submit their game clips to me and following a selection process a single (or top 3) winner(s) will receive a select giveaway item. I am posting here to obtain some feedback.

Things I have already given some thought to:

  1. Q: Will the challenge interfere with game play? Am I putting myself and other summoners within the game at risk of losing the game? A: Short answer: I imagine it will from time to time depending on the nature of the challenge. I will highly encourage this to never be attempted in ranked games. Challenges will be diverse and Summoners will be informed to complete the challenge in Summoner's Rifts (Normals), ARAM, Dominion, and Twisted Treeline (never Ranked). Players will be asked to complete at their own discretion in the case that the attempt at the challenge lead to undesirable outcomes especially for other players.

  2. Q: What kind of giveaways will be available? A: I anticipate many RP giveaways, skins, and champions. In the long run, depending on my success I would love to begin providing larger rewards such as gaming hardware (keyboards, mice, headsets, etc).

  3. Q: What type of challenges do you foresee implementing? A: I have a list of many that I've already thought of and many more that I think of on a daily basis but in order to protect my ideas, I am choosing not to share the specifics of them. I will say that they involve using various champions, select itemization, various requirements to fulfill at specific times throughout the game, and some specific to game modes. They will not be as simple as "Win a game using Ahri with a 6 item 3087 build." They will be elaborate and very specific. For example, one might involve sacrificing yourself to the enemy team at the start of an ARAM which starts a game of cat and mouse where you can ONLY kill the champion that you gave first blood to (maybe even adding an itemization guideline here and there).

My request is just for some honest feedback. Would you be interested in watching something like this? I would also love some suggestions or ideas to make this better. I know millions of people are playing the other game modes on a daily basis so in essence, one is just doing something a little extra to complete the challenges. Of course half the fun will be watching people attempt to complete the challenges and I will be posting edited videos of players in the form of a countdown. Please let me know what you all think!

Actually sounds like something I'd watch. I remember there was a channel dedicated to this kind of stuff in StarCraft. I used to watch it all the time. Just be sure to make it funny and engaging. Audiences eat that up. Often times it wasn't even the clip that made the show but the commentary was what did it for me. Good luck!!! Be sure to let us know when you start it up.

It really depends. I can't imagine there are a lot of fun challenges that can be done in League. But if you say you have a list of them then go for it. It is definitely unique so it may be worth a shot. I think if you did give us an idea of what type of challenges you have in mind it would help grab attention

Sounds similar to this guy: https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCCnrNsSukgEBStc5OgvXWrA

But he's been inactive for quite a while, so it should be good
