Anyone else think the ranking system is a joke? I have been playing for a year now and last season I was bronze 5 so this past year I have played and played I have learned all kinds of roles and champions I have watched people play I have gotten advice on how to improve I have done everything short of paying to get carried so when this season started I would do well I won 7 out of my 10 games and did well in every game and still got placed in bronze 5 how can such hard work be basically punished?

Placements all depended on what you were last season, causing you to face off against a similar range in the next season. So since you were bronze that's kind of how it worked. The only way to get out of there is to climb now, and by the end of the season be something higher and it will have a better effect on the next.

For your prov's it matchs you against people of your skill lvl based on last year. And will place you according on how well you did, how "Difficult" the other players were, and how many you won. Prov's dont mean very much if you truly are better then you were last season you wouldn't care. Because if you are much better then last season the system will skip you 2-3 ranks in your promos if it believes you aren't where your supposed to be. I finished Bronze I promos and got placed in Silver III cause obviously that wasn't where i was suppose to be since last season i was Silver I.
