Sometimes you just want to play alone.

Edit:

Here is a scenario for you:

Say you just left for college and your 14yr old Mama's boy little brother keeps asking you to play. So you want to log in to play a few to relax, alone, but your brother sees you on. He asks you to play, but you say no you want to play alone. Now he runs to mom and she is now blowing up your phone saying "Why are you being mean to your little brother, just play with him, he misses you." Now your relaxing just got wrecked by having to carry little bro, or losing. If you log off, mom is going to call you and say you just logged off to avoid him and you should be a better big brother.

Wouldn't you of wanted to just log in invis and play a couple alone?

Upvoted because I always get this problem. I want to play some ranked to try to climb a bit but suddenly my friend who literally has an average of about 40 cs in 40 minutes wants to play... The worst part is I know them irl so if I ignore them or tell them "I don't want to play with you right now" they end up complaining to me the next day. I would seriously love to see an option to be invisible. There's nothing wrong with it. People who want to use it will use it and people who don't, well... they don't.

It just saves people from being forced to explain WHY DIDNT YOU PLAY WITH ME

Please this. You have available and away but not invisible. Sometimes I just want to play alone or with a specific friend, but I can't do that when I get spammed.

Now I'm angry at a little brother I don't have. I need this NOW

That's the most cringy scenario I have ever heard! Just turn off your phone and/or remove your whiny brother from your friends list.

For me, I sometimes just want to check the store, verifying some mods, updating the itemsets, anything other than actually playing, and wanting to be allowed to do that without having 3 notifications of either messages or game invites popping up if I'm logged on for than a minute.

Steam has this. Battle.net has this. Any respectable game has this. Just not this game. Says something about it...

To those having Alpha client access: is this feature either already implemented or confirmed that it will be added there?

Just tell your friends that. If they can't understand then perhaps they're just assholes.

Or just ignore people. Not hard.

Edit: Alot of you need to grow some balls and need to learn how to tell people to fuck off lmao.

I just ignore anyone that I don't want to play with at any given time. None of my friends get mad if I click no or if I don't respond. We're all adults though. So nobody cares if someone wants to play on their own.

I see this comment surface every once in a while. Why are you so insecure that you can't just tell people you want to play solo?

You can /mute people who whine at you. You can also block phone numbers. man up.
