Flex queue is probably the worst thing I've seen on this game.

I've never complained about dynamic queue, but wow, this new system is nothing less of a joke. Diamonds going up against silvers? There is a hefty 0% chance I'll be playing this when the new season is out. I believe it has 0 effect on my solo/duo mmr and i'm going to be pissed if it does.

FlexQ is DynamicQ in every way. Nothing changed about it they literally just renamed DynamicQ to FlexQ.

As to the matchmaking. Remember that there was a soft reset to rank and MMR this preseason so expect that to happen alot until the MMR system can work it out.

LOL yeah the matchmaking is broken rn. But it's still a fun queue if you have friends to play it with. If you're a solo queue player only, then you shouldn't need to worry about it.

Okay. I said this before, and I'll say it again.

If you are Bronze fighting a gold, that means the system thinks you are just as good as them, or they're just as bad as you. If you want that shiny Platinum border, BEAT THE GUYS ASS FOR IT. The ranking system is made like that. Ranks are shiny medals, that they themselves probably didn't get. They probably bought it. Just keep fighting and dont worry about ranks.

Good luck out on the battlefield.

"So many people boosted to Diamond who belong in Silver, Riot why don't you do anything about it?" "Why are Silvers and Diamonds doing placements against each other Riot?"

It was like this at the start of last season too, if you recall. Placements are always fickle at the start, then things get situated. It has nothing to do with Flex Queue, you'll have the same exact thing when Solo/Duo Queue comes out and you do your placements there.
