24 Hour Charity Stream
Hello everyone, I would like to inform you that I will be doing a 24 hour charity stream for my good friend on Saturday November 1st starting at 9. a.m. EST. On Thursday, October 23, 2014 he was critically injured while practicing near Columbus, Ohio for the upcoming 2015 Monster Energy Supercross series. On one of the biggest jumps of the track his bike stalled while he was approximately 40-60 feet in the air and left him with no control. He came down head first and the impact caused a complete T4 spinal cord injury, which has left him paralyzed from the chest down along with partially collapsed lungs, several broken ribs, broken both shoulders and bleeding behind his eye. Todd's first surgery on his spine was "successful," however the extent of his injuries still leaves him without sensory or motor function from the chest down and it is unclear whether he will be able to regain anything for some time. He went in for a second surgery on Tuesday to repair his shoulders. Rehabilitation won't be able to begin until at least a year from now and will last for many years. Those that know Toddy know that he is a kind, outgoing, charismatic, thoughtful young man who everyone, including myself, look up to and envy. There are thousands of people praying for him across the country and myself, along with his motocross family, friends, and family are trying to do everything we can to help ease the costs of the long recovery ahead. His donation fund has been set up to help with the costs of transporting from his current location at Grant Medical Center in Columbus to Cleveland as well as the costs of long-term rehabilitation care, accessibility conversions, etc.
