This 34 Year Old just got out of bronze hell!

So I haven't posted on a video game forum in easily 10 years or so but I felt compelled to do so right now because I finally got out of Bronze.

I've been playing for a couple years now and have been reading the forums steadily to learn more about the game etc.

Moral of the story is that you stay positive, ward, take down objectives and play with just a couple characters. Here are the champs I used:

I got out of bronze hell last night as well. What helped me was watching a ton of great youtubers, and in my series I got really lucky that there were no toxic trolls on my team. In my final game, I'll admit that our ADC in that game was using scripts as he had a 100% uptime on catching his axes at his rank (or could have been a challenger on a smurf, hard to really tell as even challengers aren't that perfect). I didn't care that he was using it, I just wanted to get out of bronze.

I'm hoping next season riot does something to series, as throughout all my series, I did not have fun or enjoy, nor did I feel I accomplished something. So far in silver tho, I'm having a better time in matches.

It was like all the trolls and ragers were not on recently. Perhaps playing on the weekday nights is a better option then the weekend?

Silver has the greatest skill disparity between players in the game. You will run into actual smurf accounts, which can be both a blessing and a curse. Honestly it's more of a curse for a lot of reasons.

There are some positives, but a ton of games are lost because players tilt so hard after losing lane phase. The other half are lost because players do not work as a team.

If you go even in lane and work as a team you will find success no matter what champs you are using, but remember that just going even in lane will become harder the higher you climb.
