Being Abused and bullied

Chibi Neko Hime·4/6/2015, 6:58:47 PM·2 votes·527 views

During my last few days back in league, I have been abuse by other players along with being bullied because they are saying I am not doing my job as a support. I am doing my job perfectly, as a support but if my skills are on cooldown or you know the enemy isn't in target range or even no mana, I get blame for them dieing then they can see that clearly all of this things happening. I ask them in a game that either they leave me alone and let me play support the way I play it or they can ask me to leave. I left their just continue to bully me, so ya. If I get ban from league then it will be okay since the bullies are not gonna be dealt with anyway.Sona

support

playing one of the 2 roles known for taking all of the blame

I am doing my job perfectly

You're not even lvl 30 I'm sure you still have a lot to learn about the support role c:

as a support but if my skills are on cooldown

Why are your abilities on CD? Your job is to peel your your ADC. You should have your abilities up until the moment your ADC needs to be saved and then you use your abilities as needed. As such the only time your abilities should be on CD is at the end of a long engage. At that point nobody should be able to get mad at you for not shielding them because you just did shield them. Nobody should be able to get mad at you for not stunning them because you just did stun them, etc.

or you know the enemy isn't in target range

That is probably 75-95% your fault. Positioning is the most important part of your role. Unless your ADC has a dash and uses their Dash + Flash to get ahead of you, you should be in range to protect them. Your job 100% is to save your ADC unless they can't be helped and then your job is to peel for your APC (the midlaner). The enemy should not be in range to harm your ADC if you are not in range to save them.

or even no mana

That normally means you're spamming too much (and/or you are building wrong). When you said above that your skills are on CD and then you say you might not have mana those are indicators of carelessly using your abilities or wasting your item slots.

and let me play support the way I play it or they can ask me to leave

The support role is a team oriented role. It doesn't matter if you think what you're doing is the right choice if you notice your ADC isn't following up when you go to ult or when you do X that they are upset about, then you aren't going to get the follow up you need by playing "your way". You want to avoid fighting as well as waste in the botlane. Wasting abilities because you aren't in sync, fighting with each other and letting the enemy botane get ahead. If your ADC isn't comfortable with what you're doing you need to just stop. Play their way for 15-20 minutes, and then if you disagree with them and think what they're doing is stupid just focus on protecting a different carry in teamfights.

The biggest thing is there is no "your way" to play botlane, it has to be "our way" we have to play "together" and if you're being stubborn then you don't deserve to luxury of being in the duo lane. I'm sorry but a person like me preys on supports who want don't want to synchronize with their ADC because I know that their ADC won't be able to back them up when I catch them out or that you won't be close enough by to save your ADC when I pounce on them. I know if you guys aren't 1 unit you're just that much easier to tear apart.

If I get ban from league then it will be okay since the bullies are not gonna be dealt with anyway.

you didn't really prove that they were bullying you. You basically just said that they were disagreeing with how you play and you left because you felt bullied that they weren't letting you play a team game your way. If you want actual tips and you want someone to tell you why they are "bullying" you feel free to add me in game and we can play a norms or two together and I'll tell you what you can do to convince your ADC to play closer to your way as well as what you can do to play more towards your ADC.

  1. Were they offering advice and you were unaccepting? As a new support player, others might have knowledge helpful to you, why were they saying you weren't a good support?
  2. You threatened to AFK? Why not just mute them if they were "bullying" you?
  3. Why make a negative statement about them "Not getting dealt with" What in your 20 levels of experience has lead you to believe that toxicity isn't dealt with?

have you tried muting them all? or just not reading the chat?

  1. I might be under Lvl 30 Alex, but I have learned how to play support. It's not like I pick the role just because it is duo lane. I enjoy playing support and I have learned how to play it. I know there are things I need to work on like my builds and being more aware of what is happening on the other lanes, but playing support is one thing I know.

  2. As for why my skills were on cooldown, my adc was in a 3 v 2. Because I am not a tanky support I couldn't get between him and the enemy so I was doing my best to heal him, poke, slow and my ult which is a stun. Because it was less than 15 mins into the game it's not like I have lots any cool down items.

  3. Trust me I know how you want to place the blame on me saying that is mostly my fault that I wasn't in range. Here is the thing, my adc flashing into danger. Along with the fact they have a faster movement speed than me because of they champion. So how am I to put myself between them and the enemy?

  4. I wasn't even spamming my skills. No mana regen items yet also trying to keep they health up uses most of my mana, making it impossible for me to even use them, even with them being on cooldown. By the time, they are off cool down still no mana even to stun because I been trying to keep them alive.

  5. The way I play support isn't like I am playing it like I just started the game. I play support that I placing my wards in the right locations. I do my best to stay behind the minions since I know if I get caught it quick death on by part. When it comes to team fights because of the support I play I use my auras to heal and even give my team movement speed to help get a kill.

As for being in sync with my adc. First of all the person didn't even want to be adc in the first place. Hard to be in sync with someone who doesn't even want the role in the first place. Second my adc is away from me and asking me to ult, which will only stun the target for a few second which how far my adc was from us wouldn't even be enough time for them to get there.

I can be in sync with my adc in if I don't have one going off and almost getting killed less than 1 min. into the game.

  1. The fact that I was blame for something I didn't do. Being call a cunt and useless is bullying. I already sent you a friend request.

@ Arliden.

No, they weren't offering any advice said I said to Alex they called me a cunt and useless. If they were offering advice I would have taken it.

  1. I didn't threat to AFK. I ask them simple if they want me to keep playing support the way I normally play it so my way or do they want me to leave. They were given a choice in the matter all I got as a respond was STFU.

  2. Simple, even if I report them for being toxic no one else on the team was going to report them though they saw it happening. That's why I know that the toxic behaviour is not gonna be dealt with.

@ Toilette Of Doom

I didn't read the chat after they last message to STFU. Even muting them wouldn't have work because the first comment already got to me, bring the tears to the brink of spilling.

Bitches gonna bitch, whiners gonna whine, naggers gonna nag, shit happens. That is why you should turn your chat filter back on since you're clearly not ready for it. Also, there's a mute button when you hold down tab next to their champ, learn to use it.
