What are .luaobj files?

So I have been messing around with LoL skin installer and have been poking around with some of the files attempting to change some spell icons and I come across these .luaobj files. I have searched Google as much as I could to find out what these do but I found very little useful results. I tried opening them with Notepad++ and other programs and I could not do anything. Could somebody explain to me what these files are and what they do?
