League of legends closes on it's own

I have been having problems lately with my league client. When I join a game, when I type in to call my role, as soon as I hit [ENTER] it quits the league client. Because of this I can't play because of the insane queue penalty that I get. Does anyone have an idea for why this happens or a solution?

Are you sure that you're not pressing another key as you press enter? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the client? Or simply rebooting your whole system?
