What dispute? Consoles are just PC's that have really low limits in order to be cheaper and be consistent in their performance. PC's have no limit, to neither price nor performance. The consistent performance and price of consoles is what makes them appealing, but are in no way superior besides that appeal.

For me, there are certain things I prefer each for...
Because of the ease of use for couch gaming, I generally prefer console for most things. They're just more convenient with far less configuration and setup required to get it to work on a couch. For things like MMO, RTS, MobA, etc. I prefer PC because mouse/keyboard is just far superior for those specific genre. But for like TPS, RPG, etc. I find controllers to be a more comfortable control scheme.
But in the end, there is no factual answer. It's all a matter of preference.
