Voice Chat system.

I love playing LOL and i find the ping system can helpful at times but also a little stiff. By this i mean that it would be nice if there were other ways of communicating in lol. I also play dota 2 and they have a voice chat system. It aint no stype were you chat away the whole game but simply just to say like "engage" or "back away" or "missing" stuff like that. This would add a good tool to the game that would not only help new players but add to the jungle role durring ganks and help solo top laners know when they need to hid under their turret. Anyways just an idea. Would be great if it was actually introduced, even if it was a new thing to come into the game in season 5.

Give lots of attention so RIOT sees it ;)

At this point riot has developed a unique experience for communicating with teammates. An in game chat system would only lead to more spamming and confusion.

These are the reasons I think a voice chat system is a bad idea:

1.It probably won't work as well as one designed by a company dedicated to voice communication, like skype, so it won't be used by teams anyway.

2.I simply don't want to talk to most of my random teams, but would be pressured to use it.

3.It would make it more difficult to give commentary during streams if you are expected to voice chat every game.

4.Riot's development time is better spent elsewhere.

I think it would be a good idea to help with raging they might be afraid to start a problem or issue with someone that was talking to them not over a key board.

Well, as a player for over a year, the idea has come across my mind. The blatant truth is: Not everyone has a mic, mine broke about 3 months ago and I have no job or money. And People WILL report, troll, harass, tell jokes not suitable for children, and it just wouldn't be helpful because so many people are immature and can't handle talking to randoms, OR it could be as simple as someone not liking the sound of their voice and not wanting to be judged on it. And the way girls who play are treated (ie: if they are bad: [maybe] "Get back to the kitchen", or if they are good: "MARRY ME!!!!!", "Wanna be friends?")

Also if Riot wanted to extend the Tribunal system to the voice chat they would have to save EVERY SINGLE 20-60 min voice chat to their server which would cause ping problems and crashes.

TL;DR Bad Idea, that we all wanted at one point.

It'd be impossible to use with the Tribunal. They'd have to list audio logs of every game, and it's a lot faster to read chat then to listen to people talk.

Ask yourselves all a very simple question. How many people do you know who talk real big but when the time comes they pussy out so to speak. This to me from firsthand experience is the "time". I've had some people rage at me in text in other games and when I finally get their ass on TS they mumble like an idiot. If anything the trolls will stick to chat and only a few would abuse voice. I can say this without a doubt as I've seen it firsthand too many times. And maybe the tribunal needs an overhaul but team coordination is the most important thing above all. To me that is.
