So what yall think....is the void creature that laughed someone we already know? Maybe Malz? (he summons minions and kinda opens rifts) or is it possibly a hint for a future champion?
Just interests me cause Sol is pretty much a god and he seemed very interested in the power of the one who opened the rift. Maybe he sensed a possible equal (slightly below him since he sees himself as the best).
It's something we haven't encountered before, otherwise Sol would recognise the presence and have a unique quote for whichever champion it is. It's mentioned that this creature is more intelligent with complex hungers and desires, while all the Voidborn we know do have rather simplistic hungers;
- Hungers for fear, mayhem and revels in depravity.
- Seeks to consume all and grow out of infancy.
- Seeks biological perfection through adaptation.
- Hungers for dominance within her chosen territories.
- Hungers for ominscience.
By far, the most intelligent Voidborn we've encountered is Vel'Koz. The most indominable Voidborn we've encountered is Cho'gath. The one with the most complex hunger is Kha'Zix.
Indominable, intelligent with complex hungers cannot describe only one of the current Voidborn. Aurelion Sol was even impressed by the creature's arrogance, complexity, power and intelligence, to the extent that it even angered him, the most powerful champion to grace the Rift. If, arguably what is close to a God within the League of Legends universe, deems it powerful... Well, it cannot be any of the Voidborn that we know, it's something far more sinister.
As for Malzahar, he's the Void's prophet and leader of the Cult of the Void. The Void has two effects on humans that glimpse it: They're either so horrified by what they see, that they pledge to never allow their abilities to consume them and to protect the world from the horrors within OR they're consumed by The Void and become apart of the Cult of the Void, where they sacrifice humans to The Void, creating more Voidborn and opening rifts. It isn't Malzahar, I'm afraid.
