Both sides of the free skin discusiion

This is about the "Get skins for free using IP" conversation that has been going for a few years now. And I'm here just explain to both sides about the benefits of both sides and decide my veridct at the end.

Now I've been searching for some days, now and people have some good ideas that Riot should consider. I've seen renting skins( which is a good one, coming from smite)to making them more expensive then the most expensive champions(7200 new champions on realease). Now these are good ideas but you need to listen to the following...

Rito needs money You don't need skins (Ingame) The skins do probably just extend skillshots a little bit. Rito already made the game free... People would pretty much just waste there time trying to buy the champs with IP( and not do anything else). Rito would lose money and LoL wouldn't be the #1 MOBA anymore. Buying skins with money isn't just for buying skins, your also donating money to (Riot) a company that made a good game that you enjoy, and made it FREE for EVERYONE.

Now I like the idea of getting skins for free, but It's also not good to be greedy. But I still like getting skins for free, especially when (correct me if I'm wrong) at the start of the Year when they gave all the good players a random skin for free. It means our community is doing something right. And If we keep doing things right they might even give us one free skin per month.

But like I was saying, I like the idea of free skins( avalible daily/ once per week) And I know everyone else does too. So when people give good idea on free skins, don't be an ass and make fun of the person, but give good feedback, and if your voting on free skins that you want them, then say yes, don't say no becuase the company will lost money( saying have to say yes, or even vote at all), say yes because you want the free skins. not everyone can afford (all) skins in LoL, so just let the people be when they want free skins.

Reasons you should consider it...

  1. Your getting free skins
  2. Skins are cool (LoL)
  3. Your getting free skins( did I already say that)
  4. Your not using precious money you use to buy food, a place to live ,etc. 5.Your getting free skins

But to be honest, even though I like the idea of of getting free skins, Riot is one of the few company who aren't greedy, made this amazing game free, spend there time making skins, and skin splashes(that are pretty deceptive) and that are actually worth money. Riot should still consider this idea, but remeber you don't need skins and should donate that money to Riot, by buying skins.

You know you can be a "SKT Faker" amd never buy a skin (other than a skin dedicated to you), and use it.

I don't want Riot to just go out and make skins free, but you know how they do the skin sale thing? I was wondering if once per week, a random skin is sold for IP at 1,000,000 IP. It will be one of those skins that cost 540 RP. Any thoughts?

I don't want free skins I want free runes and champions, someone who has played League for 5 years can have the same champion pool as someone who is just rich and payed $500 to obtain everything.

Skins are cosmetic and are not needed. when rriot feels like giving them out then sure why not it is there choice but if everyone gets X skin then that skin becomes dull because EVERYONE has it. skins are to set yourself apart i feel or whatever or just to change it up a bit. If you don't want to spend money don't but if you want a skin make a choice. otherwise be greatful for the random free skins you get.

You left out the most important reason not to introduce free skins -

A lot of people have already paid tons of money for skins and they'd essentially be getting screwed if it was suddenly possible to buy them with IP.

Heres my thoughts on the free skin, To me I will never demand/ask riot for free skins (I Like free things, but they already gave me this game for free). Yet, riot is good about free things, seeing as for good behavior this past winter they gave free skin, and the pool party gave free champs (with facebook) and we got close to the mundo skin. When I see people asking riot for free skins, I just think its silly because they do have some events that give free things and I dont want to demand the one thing (besides LCS) that gives them money.

DOES THE HEXATECH crafting tool means that riot would stop suporting his game or its just that they want to give us free skins all time, how much lifespan will have lol, after all its runin since 2009, the new hexatech craft tool will mean, that in 2017 this game will be dead or what or riot just want us to improve comunity by giving us free skins, for playin and making great games? wo does it know, maybe this game will be dead next year becuase riot suport will end... now that i just started playin it would be a waste and now with the free skins...
