2 things I've realized about the new Veigar.
First: He'd be OP in ARAM.
Because with 5 people clumped together, he'd gain lots of AP by landing his spells, up to 25 AP per combo if the entire enemy team dies to kills/assists. Not to mention that with farming minions with ANY SPELL, he could gain much more mid to late game.
Veigar would be the terror of ARAM if that is the case. But of course, he has to LAND the spells to be THAT strong lategame.
Second: He could MAYBE be a viable support in the Rift.
Think about it! Veigar doesn't need to farm minions, just poke the enemy bot lane. And without the mandatory "Max Q to win", he can just max E first to have stronger stuns for his ADC. And because he has two laners instead of one mid, he can have double the AP for poking... At the cost of not being able to farm minions (Save for turret farming when the ADC is gone or for wave clears mid/lategame.)
Honestly, once the Veigar changes go live, I'll try him support to see if it goes decently well or horribly wrong, but I can imagine Veigar support to be a serious thing with these new buffs.
Those were my thoughts on the new Veigar. What about your opinions on this?
