I got a friend request from a level 3 account and I was like "yes finally, not a level 1 spam bot" but then it just spammed the same message anyway,

I got an email from Rito in response to the support ticket I sent them regarding bots. I once got 11 in one day. The email said that they were aware of the issue and are working on a "fix" (I use that term VERY loosely when talking about Riot) and to just ignore requests from people I don't know. This was around the end of February.
