Make a loading screen chat

Like really, why wouldn't you make a loading screen chat? People would just chat with each others while the game loads, as that no one would get bored anymore! It's so boring to just wait for the 100% to reach. Please.

I could see it usually going like

Yas:wow this is taking longer then 5 second Jinx: wow report braum for having a potatoe Braum:... K6: I gotta pee Jinx & yas: ... go now you still have time Braum:... my comp isnt that slow! Enemy Team: all report braum for having potatoe as a computer Braum: TT_TT the game hasnt even started Vlad: Its okay buddy dont get vlad about this Everyone: report vlad for bad puns

Hmm... Not really. I mean, most people who would do that would say it when the game starts. The same thing. As i met a diamond player in a normal game (i'm lower) it took 10 entire minutes for him to load. Afterwards, in the game, 3 players started to make jokes about his computer you should give it to your grandma for her to fuel the fireplace etc. That can happen in the loading screen but mostly it would happen at game start too.

I mean it happens at the beginning of games anyways, im not saying that it doesnt happen. How do I know? Because I joke around like this all the time. Im not against it at all, actually id relish the loading screen as a time for teams to exchange some harmless banter either only to one another, or among everyone. But you would have to be able to mute people in the loading screen as well if they were to implement this.

This would be amazing. I hate the wait! It would also allow for extra time to strategize before the game.

Oh you mean team chat not all chat. That would make sense, because it is super hard to plan a jungle invade in solo que, since there is usually one person afk/alt tabbed at the start. This idea would make level one strategies a lot more interesting in solo que.

I assume they don't because it would probably be used to complain about the guy loading the slowest haha.

The reason is that it apparently causes slower loading times. We definitely don't want that.

To implement this they would need an entirely new client, so you'll have to wait for the new client because they can't just implement it like poof, because it's not close to as easy as it looks.

Interesting idea, kinda like it, don't think it's gonna happen. Cause apparently, to Riot, here are the things that are most toxic: Supports buying more vision than any other teammates (A Leona is carrying 5 Wards? TOXIC! TOO MUCH CONTROL!), casual chatter/banter ("Lol fuck u too :P" and "Noob reported Kappa" is toxic, even when genuinely joking), Sandbox Mode (People are allowed to practice alone with the ability to alter gold, bots, and objectives? TOXIC!), and Replay System (It's TOXIC to put effort into a basic feature that the two biggest competitive E-Sports, CS:GO and Dota 2, have as standard features).

I just turn on YouTube, music, or read forums while waiting for the loading screen. I could sometimes swear I spend more time on the Boards than in games.

I remember this one time our match got glitched out and we never got to the loading screen, what happened was that we were still able to chat and such but after like 10-15 seconds we then loaded into the game, we just never got a loading screen. So it can't be because they can't support a chat while loading.
